CFA Examination Rules and Fee The theme of the examination is to assess and certify the students conceptual learning and competency level of Knowledge, Skills and Application abilities in Investment and Financial Analysis curriculum. Rules The examination will be written and/or computer based through approved centers The examinations will be conducted two (02) times a year in January and July. Only the framework 1 and 2 will be examined sequentially.The duration of the examination of each framework will be three (03) hours. The 100 marks examination for Framework-1 will be the combination of Problems and Applied theories questions. The 100 marks examination for Framework-2 will consist of practical case studies pattern. The Framework-3 will be assessed through 300 marks Thesis / Dissertation.  The guideline of contents will be communicated to the students individually, depends upon his/her professional area/field. Final assessment for the award of (Certified Financial Analysts) designation will be based on a successful presentation / interview by the student via Personal Appearance for local students and/or Skype for overseas students. Passing Marks Passing marks for each framework are 50 per cent or more. A student will have to secure an aggregate of 60 per cent or more in all 3 frameworks to be eligible for the award of (Certified Financial Analysts) designation. Enrollment Date The last date of enrollment is one-month before examination dates and is communicated to student through individual mailing and the institute's website announcement as well. Fee Schedule All payments be made in the name of Certified Financial Analysts through Pay Orders/Demand Draft.
