Scholarship Description: The University of Pardubice is inviting applications for up to twenty full summer school scholarships to study in the Czech Republic. The course runs from July 8, 2018, to August 7, 2018.

Scholarship Provider: The University of Pardubice has been extending the almost seventy-year long tradition of higher education in the city of Pardubice. The Chemical College, later known for 40 years as the Institute of Chemical Technology, was founded in Pardubice in 1950 to answer the needs of the East Bohemian Region, which had a highly developed chemical industry, yet lacked professionally trained specialists in this field.

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Degree Level: This is a summer programme. The course runs from July 8, 2018, to August 7, 2018.

Available Subject: Each week will be focused on one or two topics. There will be a group field trip each Saturday. Topics to look forward to:

  • Note: The programme may slightly change.

  • 1st week – Intercultural communication and European Values

  • 2nd week – Economics and Administration

  • 3rd week – Chemical Technology and Healthcare

  • 4th week – Transportation and National Heritage


Scholarship Benefits: The scholarship covers the study, accommodation and meals.

Number of Scholarships: Twenty full scholarships are available.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must the meet following requirements:
Students from all around the world between 18 and 30 years.

Application Procedure: 

Fill out the application form. Your application should include a one-page essay titled “What does the European Union means to me”.

Application deadline is May 27, 2018, for non-EU applicants; June 10, 2018, for applicants from the EU.
