2015 Fully-Funded Studentship for International Students, Swansea University is inviting applications for fully funded MPhil studentship in geography. Candidates will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be prepared to stay away from home when necessary for extended periods of time. The studentship covers the full cost of UK/EU tuition fees, plus a tax free stipend of £10,130 p.a. for two years. These positions are open to all, but please note that only UK/EU tuition fees will be covered by the scholarship. International students are welcome to apply, but will be required to pay the difference between the UK/EU fee level and the international fee level. The last date of submission of application is 1st July 2015.

Eligibility:

  1. Applicants should hold a first or upper second class honours degree in a relevant discipline, such as geography, ecology, forestry or plant science. Candidates who also hold or who are expecting to achieve a relevant Master’s degree are highly desirable.

  2. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of plant pathology, entomology and tree diseases and have experience of dendrochronology.

  3. Candidates will need to hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be prepared to stay away from home when necessary for extended periods of time.

  4. This position is open to all, but please note that only UK/EU tuition fees will be covered by the scholarship. International students are welcome to apply, but will be required to pay the difference between the UK/EU fee level and the international fee level.
