The University of Queensland, Australia is offering Graduate school  international travel award. Applicants must be a confirmed RHD candidate  enrolled full-time at UQ (part-time students are eligible to apply but must be  enrolled full time while overseas). This award does not support travel to  attend overseas conferences, complete courses and visiting  an advisory team. The award  is of Up to AUD$3000 for travel in the Pacific  region (eg. Indonesia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea) and up to AUD$5000 for  travel elsewhere in the world.

Eligibility: To be eligible, you must: -Be a confirmed  RHD candidate enrolled full-time at UQ (part-time students are eligible to apply  but must be enrolled full time while overseas) -Be a confirmed candidate  with no overdue milestone at the time of application -Travel before the  Thesis Review milestone -Not have previously held a UQ Graduate School  funded travel grant -Demonstrate that additional funds are available if  required -Undertake at least 10 days of research related activity -Plan  your departure date to be after the outcome of the travel award application is  announced as retrospective funding will not be approved.

Scholarship Description: Graduate School International Travel Awards are awarded  to support overseas travel for at least one distinct study related purpose that  is relevant and academically justifiable but not essential to the completion of  your thesis.  Acceptable travel purposes include accessing research  material or facilities that are unavailable in Australia (e.g. libraries,  archives, laboratories) and working in a research environment with resources not  currently available to the candidate.  This award does not support  travel to attend overseas conferences, complete  courses and visiting an advisory team.
