University of Southampton Wellcome Master’s Programme Awards in Humanities and Social Science, UK 2022-23 is open for International Students, Domestic Students . The students selected by the university will be provided a tuition fee and £16,000 for one year.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants should have a background/undergraduate degree in social sciences or humanities. They must have evidence of excellent academic achievement, with a minimum of a BSc/BA grade equivalent to a UK 2i or first.

In addition, applicants must:

• Be a UK national or national of a low, lower-middle or upper-middle income country as defined by the World Bank for the 2022 fiscal year.
• Have some research experience and have clear plans for a career in research in their home countries
• Have received an unconditional offer for the MSc in Global Health commencing in September 2022
• Have obtained the relevant English Language qualifications if necessary

1.    Apply to the MSc in Global Health: When applying please ensure you choose the MSc Global Health program in the Faculty of Social Sciences NOT the MSc Public Health (Global Health Pathway) as this programme is not eligible for the scholarship award.
