Boston MBA

Boston MBA actually refers to the MBA degree program offered by the Boston University through its School of Management located at Boston, MA. Originally the School was known as College of Business Administration and was established in the year 1913. The Boston MBA program is accredited by AACSB. Boston University’s School of Management offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs to more than 2500 students. The programs are delivered using the services of more than 250 full time faculty and 200 part time faculty and research assistants. The Academic programs on offer by the Boston University School of Management include – Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration known as BSBA degree, graduate degree programs such as Master of Business Administration degree and Executive Education programs. Apart from the MBA degree at the Master’s level, the School of Management also offers Master of Science degree in Investment Management, Master of Science in Information Systems, Masters Degree in Mathematical Finance and a Doctor of Business Administration degree. The Boston University School of Management also offers many joint degrees in Management along with other related schools and colleges of the Boston University. There are more than 350 full time MBA students and more than 400 part time MBA students at the School of Management in Boston. Another sixty students on an average enroll to the executive MBA program of the School, taking the total MBA figure to more than 800. The Full time MBA at the Boston Graduate School of Management, part of the School of Management at Boston University, is a 64 credit curriculum program. The program also provides an optional internship opportunity.  There are many types of MBA degrees on offer by the School – General MBA, Health Sector MBA, Public and Non-profit MBA, One year International MBA, MS-MBA, Professional Evening MBA and dual degree MBA. Joint degrees offered by the School of Management include – MBA-JD, MBA-MD, MBA-MA, MBA-MPH (Health care management & Global health management degrees), MBA-MS in Television Management, Manufacturing Engineering and International Relations. Executive MBA is aimed at working professionals and is delivered using classroom learning, distance learning and client hosted programs. Executive MBA is an 18 month-program at the Boston School of Management and classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays.
