Kellogg School of Management

The Kellogg School of Management or simply Kellogg is a top level school of management under Northwestern University. The Kellogg School of Management is located in Illinois and Florida. The School of Management was established in the year 1908 originally as the School of Commerce offering only part time evening programs. In 1956 the School was renamed as School of Business and in 1969 as Graduate School of Management after discontinuing its undergraduate courses. In 1979 the School received a $10 million gift from John L Kellogg and the School was again renamed as JL Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Finally in the year 2001 the School shortened its name to Kellogg School of Management. Marketing guru Philip Kotler and James L. Allen cofounder of Booz Allen Hamilton are largely associated with the Kellogg School of Management. The School of Management has also played major role in the setting up of Global Management Admission test for students. The Academic programs offered by the Kellogg include the following – degree, PhD degree and even a joint MBA-JD degree. The School of Management offers the MBA degreeas full time, part time and for working professionals. Full time MBA programs include 1 year MBA degree, 2 years MBA degree, MMM degree (MBA and MEM) and MBA-JD degree. Executive MBA degree programs include EMBA, International Executive MBA and non degree executive MBA.
