Some of your tasks may include:

• Maintain WB China Local Production database and upload production information

• Monitor industry news, market trends and latest practices related to film project development, production, marketing and distribution

• Prepare industry reports, detailed market and project specific analyses to the team

• Support in read scripts and write script coverage/analysis

• Source feature film ideas (from literature websites etc.) with initial evaluations

• Draft pitching materials / PPT decks

• Supporting ad-hoc projects as required


The Essentials

• Studying towards a bachelor or master degree in a film, media, communication or related specialization

• Strongly interested in Chinese and Hollywood film industries

• Be able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal English and Mandarin

• Be proficient in Microsoft Applications and experienced with using Excel for data analysis and designing PowerPoint slides

• Be an effective communicator working with both internal and external stakeholders

• Be organized, detail oriented and an independent team player who is able to prioritize tasks and deadlines

• Be flexible and able to adapt to changes and shifting priorities

• Always maintain confidentiality regarding business information

• Be able to commit for at least 3-4 days a week up to 6 months
