The University Of Notre Dame actually stands for Notre Dame du Lac and is situated in Indiana, US. The University Of Notre Dame is a private educational and research establishment and has five colleges and a professional school under it. The University is notable for the launch of the first four year program in Foreign Commerce in USA. Notre Dame MBA refers to the University’s MBA program offered by Mendoza College of Business. Mendoza College of Business is located in Notre Dame in South Bend, St Joseph County. The College of Business is one of the top rated business schools in USA. John Francis O’Hara, a priest founded the College of Business in the year 1921. The College was named Mendoza College of Business in the year 2000 when it received a substantial donation from Tom and Kathy Mendoza of Net App. Mendoza College of Business offers undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business economics, Management and Marketing and graduate degree programs such as MBA, Executive MBA degree, MS in Accountancy and MNA degree to its students. The college of business has close to 2500 students under its various undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Mendoza College of Business is supported by 145 full time instructors who are experts in the various fields of management. The College of Business accepts students with any undergraduate degree from an accredited university for its MBA programs. However the College gives more weightage to accountancy and quantitative knowledge of the applicants for the MBA admission. Once admitted to the MBA programs students are also required to undertake a summer internship program. Students of the fill time MBA program have an average work experience of 4.6 years with mean GPA of 3.33 and GMAT score ranging between 600 and 750. Mendoza College of Business also has an Accelerated One year MBA program that starts and ends in the month of May. One year MBA program covers the following fields – mathematics, accounting, economics, finance and marketing. The College of Business has 336 MBA students and 183 Executive MBA students. Executive MBA program of the College of Business are of two types – South Bend Cincinnati and Chicago MBA. The Executive MBA in South Bend is a 21 month program and has an online campus in Cincinnati. Classes are held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday once in a month. The program starts in August and has an orientation in July. The Chicago Notre Dame Executive MBA is a 17 month biweekly program where classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays only. Classes begin in the month of January and orientation starts in December every year.
