The College was named Mendoza College of Business in the year 2000 when it received a substantial donation from Tom and Kathy Mendoza of Net App.
Mendoza College of Business offers undergraduate programs such as Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business economics, Management and Marketing and graduate degree programs such as MBA, Executive MBA degree, MS in Accountancy and MNA degree to its students. The College of Business accepts students with any undergraduate degree from an accredited university for its MBA programs. Executive MBA program of the College of Business are of two types – South Bend Cincinnati and Chicago MBA. The Executive MBA in South Bend is a 21 month program and has an online campus in Cincinnati. Classes are held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday once in a month. The program starts in August and has an orientation in July. The Chicago Notre Dame Executive MBA is a 17 month biweekly program where classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays only. Classes begin in the month of January and orientation starts in December every year.
