Nyenrode and TCS announce digital transformation partnership

Nyenrode Business University and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have announced a partnership with the aim of boosting the pace of digital transformation.

Netherlands-based institution Nyenrode and the Indian organisation TCS are aiming to help fuel the next generation of global business leaders.

The collaboration will mainly be centered around the TCS Pace program. This will involve the establishment of a collaborative ecosystem, uniting start-ups, academia and businesses to promote an environment of innovation while utilising the latest digital transformation technologies.

Nyenrode and TCS want to promote a more sustainable society

The two institutions will be workingalongside board members of various European organisations in order to collaborate on these upcoming projects. Through these collaborations, these industry leaders will aspire to bolster the economy and promote a more sustainable society.

Prof. dr. Désirée van Gorp, Chair of Nyenrode’s International Advisory Board, stated:

“TCS and Nyenrode are maintaining a warm relationship since 2006 in which we worked together. We are excited to engage in a more structural collaboration on the topic of digital transformation.

“This is an important area of expertise for talent development at Nyenrode and will greatly benefit our students and the Nyenrode community at large resulting among others in joint publications and joint events focused on serving the business community by sharing relevant knowledge and experiences.”

Finance, digital work, sustainability, and future of mobility main topics for program

Josu Devasia, the Country Head of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Netherlands, corroborated this statement, and expressed the institution’s anticipation for this upcoming collaboration.

“I am very excited to partner with Nyenrode on this crucial topic of digital transformation. Today, practically every industry is being disrupted by companies that have a digital first mindset.

“On top of that, as a global society, we deal with a lot of big challenges, ranging from sustainability, to challenges in healthcare. Developing more talent and more knowledge on digital transformation is crucial in building a more resilient economy as well as a more sustainable world.”

The main topics that will be focused on – through joint events, research, publications and internship assignments – are finance, digital workplaces, sustainability, the changing dynamics of financial services, and the future of mobility.
