Rutgers Business School was established in the year 1929 under the Rutgers University. Rutgers is the State University of New Jersey which was founded in 1766. Rutgers Business School or simply RBS offers graduate and undergraduate courses related to business management. The School of Business is located in two main campuses in USA, Newark and New Brunswick. Apart from Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers School of Business has other campuses including few satellite campuses in – Jersey City, Morristown, Princeton, Madison, Beijing and Shanghai. Rutgers Business School has an approximate student population of 5400, with 3500 undergraduate students, more than 1700 post graduates and 111 doctoral students. The School of Business also has a full time faculty strength of 130 and part time faculty strength of 82. The academic programs on offer by the Rutgers Business School are – undergraduate courses such as BS in Business in Newark and New Brunswick, Master level programs such as part time and full time MBA degrees, executive MBA, International executive MBA, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, Professional Accounting MBA, Master of Accountancy in financial accounting, taxation and governmental accounting, Master of Information Technology and Master of Quantitative Finance. Master of Business Administration degree is offered with the following concentration choices – Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Management Science, Information Systems, Pharmaceutical Management and Entrepreneurship. The MBA course requires the students to complete 60 credits of study to receive the degree. The School of Business also offers an accelerated one year MBA program. Rutgers also offers Ph.D degree in the following fields of study – Accounting, Finance, Management Science, Marketing Science, Accounting Information Systems, Information Technology, International Business, and Organization Management, Supply chain management and Science, Technology & Management.
