The Mission
Zero Gravity’s mission is to propel high-potential students from all four corners of the UK into top universities and careers; first in the UK, and then worldwide. Through our award-winning digital platform, Zero Gravity unlocks education and career opportunities for talented students from all backgrounds by propelling them into the UK's best universities and careers.
Since its launch, Zero Gravity has mentored 3,000+ students into top universities including 400+ students at Oxbridge. Zero Gravity is now on course to mentor 10,000+ students per year into top universities by 2024. And we’re growing rapidly. Last year, we raised £3.9m from 34 investors, and we are now working with leading employers to launch our careers platform.
The Details
• We're looking for 6 members of the Zero Gravity Community to join our summer internship program.
• The internship will run for 6 weeks from 1st August - to 9th September.
• You will join us at Zero Gravity HQ in Central London for the first 2 weeks, where you will be working full-time with the Zero Gravity team. The rest of the internship will be completed virtually and part-time, with minimal disruption to your summer.
• We'll provide free accommodation for your time in London, and the internship will be paid. There will be a social with the team and a celebratory day to wrap it all up at the end.
• You will be working directly with the Zero Gravity team to pioneer our careers platform. This will involve working together to figure out what our content should focus on and contain, and how it can be of maximum value to students like you.
• Your impact will be huge. You will be working alongside our product, tech, and ops teams to help us design our launch plan for the career sector you are interested in, and provide useful insight and research on how to execute the vision.
Eligibility Criteria
• You must be a member of the Zero Gravity community. To apply for the Zero Gravity internship program you must be a registered Zero Gravity mentee or mentor. Please make sure you sign up with the same email address you registered your Zero Gravity account with.
• You’ll have a strong interest in entering a career in Finance, Law, or Tech.
• You must be a student in your first, penultimate, or final year summer at university in the UK.
