CHEVENING UK GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIPS

Chevening Scholarships are the UK Government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. This prestigious programme awards scholarships to outstanding individuals in Pakistan who display leadership potential.

The programme provides funding for full-time postgraduate courses, normally a one-year Master’s degree, in a range of subjects, at any UK university. We also pay for return flights to the UK and contribute towards your living expenses.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must have good English (written and spoken). IELTS will be required if selected for Chevening scholarship

Must be ambitious, driven Pakistani national with leadership skills who is committed to the betterment of their society.

Must be Pakistani citizen and intend to return to Pakistan after your studies. Dual nationals are not eligible.

Must have Master’s degree (or a four year Bachelor’s degree) from a recognized university in Pakistan or the equivalent from an overseas institution.

Must have at least two years’work or equivalent experience by 30 September 2015. Must apply online in the subject areas mentioned above. Applicants for any other subjects will not be considered. Be able to obtain the correct visa, and receive an unconditional offer from a university. Application forms are available online.
