The Liberal Arts program at Centennial College offers a comprehensive two-year, full-time pathway designed to provide a solid foundation in the humanities and social sciences. This program prepares students for degree-level studies at Trent University, enabling successful graduates to receive transfer credits towards selected Bachelor of Arts (Honours) programs.
This diploma program encompasses a variety of liberal arts and social science courses, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills. The curriculum may include the following subjects:
Specialization option: Available specialization in Indigenous Studies allows students to gain additional transfer credits towards an Indigenous Studies degree at Trent University, provided they meet the necessary academic criteria.
Transfer-focused academic development: The program emphasizes writing and analytical assessments to ensure students are well-prepared for the expectations of undergraduate studies.
To be eligible for this program, candidates generally require an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or an equivalent qualification. Mature students aged 19 and older may also be considered based on their prior learning and experience.

If candidates do not meet the English proficiency requirements, they may have the option to take the Centennial English Admission Test, where available.
