About the Programme

The PhD programme in Scientific, Technological and Social Methods Enabling Circular Economy at the University of Padua prepares doctoral researchers to devise practical, evidence-based solutions facilitating the transition from a linear production model to a circular economy.

What You'll Study

Curriculum 3: Circular Biomaterials and Biorefinery

• Research focused on biomaterials and biomass

Doctoral Training Components

Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to possess a second-cycle degree that qualifies them for doctoral study. The programme welcomes candidates with:

• diploma di laurea (pre-reform regime);
• laurea magistrale or equivalent master's degree;
