Entry requirements

To gain admission to the Graduate Certificate in Science in Artificial Intelligence, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Acceptance by the Head of School, indicating readiness to undertake the proposed course of study.

English language proficiency is required, with minimum scores as follows:

• IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5, with no individual score below 6.0
• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 90, with at least 20 in writing
• PTE Academic: Minimum score of 58, with a communicative score no less than 50
• Victoria University of Wellington EAP programme: Minimum final scores of 4,4,5,5
• Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency, overall score of 176+, with each skill no less than 169
• NZCEL: Level 5 (Academic)
