Academic requirements
Admission is based on your prior education and its recognition by the University of Zurich. If you do not hold a Swiss upper secondary school-leaving certificate, admission may also be granted to applicants with an equivalent higher education qualification.
- Non-Swiss Bachelor’s-level diploma: A diploma (at least Bachelor’s degree) from a state-accredited non-Swiss university recognized by the University of Zurich as equivalent to the corresponding Swiss diploma.
- Non-Swiss applied sciences/teacher education diploma: A Bachelor’s degree from a non-Swiss university of applied sciences or university of teacher education in a signatory state to the Lisbon Recognition Convention recognized by the University of Zurich as equivalent.
