The Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMP) Technology and Manufacturing course at Atlantic Technological University (ATU), in collaboration with NIBRT, is designed to equip graduates with the essential skills for technical, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory roles in cell and vector-based therapies. Over a duration of 36 months, students will gain in-depth practical knowledge of ATMP manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatory expectations throughout the product lifecycle.

Applicants should possess a minimum of a 2.2 Honours Level 8 degree in a Science or Engineering discipline related to the life sciences. Alternative entry routes are available for candidates with different honours degrees and relevant experience in the ATMP sector, typically around five years in a GMP environment. Recognition of prior accredited learning in line with ATU procedures may also be considered.
