Master in Quantitative Economics

The Master in Quantitative Economics (MQE) program is a fast-track Master's program that is designed to provide training in Economics at a very high graduate level.

The MQE is comparable to the first two years of a Ph.D. program at the best US universities. The key intention of it is to offer exceptionally talented students a fast track to careers as academic or professional economists, providing them with the most advanced tools and methods in quantitative economics.

With a degree from the Master in Quantitative Economics program, students are well equipped for top Ph.D. programs. Former students of the LMU’s Economics Faculty have already successfully applied for top programs.

• Bachelor degree in economics or equivalent
• GRE general test results (quantitative reasoning at or above 75th percentile is required) or passing an admission test at LMU Munich
