Exploring the very mysteries of life is the essence of biology. It is at the vanguard of research into global issues such as disease, cloning, assessing health risks from foods, and humanity’s impact on our planet. Studying the full range of life, from molecules through to entire ecosystems, you will also gain an appreciation of the issues that biological advances present to society. You will develop this understanding of the scope and limitations of biological knowledge on a degree that is accredited by the Royal Society of Biology and includes extensive lab work and fieldwork in a rich diversity of habitats. The combination of technical, analytical and communication skills makes our graduates extremely employable.
