The minimum requirements for admission in BSC MATHEMATICS WITH A PLACEMENT YEAR at University of East Anglia for all applicants (Domestic or International) are:

A LEVELS

AAB including an A in Mathematics. Science A-Levels must include a pass in the practical element.

T LEVELS

No acceptable pathways for 2022 entry.

BTEC

DDD alongside grade A in A-Level Mathematics. Excluding BTEC Public Services, Uniformed Services and Business Administration.

You’ll spend the third of this four-year BSc degree on a full-time placement lasting 9 to 14 months, where you’ll put theoretical work into professional practice, and gain a real advantage for when you graduate.  

The academic side of our course has a flexible format. It allows you to combine modules from pure and applied mathematics and statistics, together with optional modules from other UEA schools.
