Scholarship Benefits:

The English Literature Undergraduate Scholarship 2022 is an award of £5000 in year 1. Awardees will receive the scholarship as an accommodation fee waiver or as a cash award

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to students from the UK and overseas who are studying any undergraduate English Literature courses.  Scholarship is an entry award and offered in year 1 only. Foundation year not included. Students progressing from SISC are not included as they have their own progression scholarship.

Application Procedure:

There is no additional application form. The Scholarship Panel will review the UCAS application forms of all students who applied by the January UCAS deadline Decisions will be made by the panel based on the strength of the candidate's UCAS Application and Personal Statement. In making awards, the panel will also give consideration to ensuring awards are made to students from a diverse range of backgrounds. The scholarship panel decision is final.
