Scholarship Description:

The HFSP fellowship program supports innovative and interdisciplinary research in the life sciences, with a focus on high-risk projects that challenge established paradigms using new techniques. The projects should address important problems or barriers in the field. Two types of fellowships are available: Long-Term Fellowships (LTF) for applicants with a PhD in biology who want to pursue a novel and frontier project, and Cross-Disciplinary Fellowships (CDF) for applicants with a non-biological doctoral degree who want to venture into life sciences research.
