Global Fellowship Scheme 2023/24 is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Fellowship level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at University of St Andrews . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 01 Mar 2023.

The University of St Andrews Global Fellowship Scheme offers esteemed awards to exceptional scholars from all over the world, allowing them to spend up to one month at the university. The program enables Global Fellows to engage with the scholarly community both in-person and virtually throughout the 2023/24 academic year. The fellowship provides the opportunity to conduct research and study, develop potential collaborations, strengthen current relationships, further research work, and find a conducive environment to reflect. The Global Office at the University of St Andrews administers the program.

Global Fellowship Scheme 2023/24 is available to undertake Fellowship level programs at University of St Andrews.

Scholarship Benefits:

The University provides all Global Fellows with: a stipend of £1000 per 28 day visit (or per day sum for shorter visits) self-catered accommodation in a one bedroom apartment or equivalent return airfare in economy class, booked by the University airport transfers to and from St Andrews access to University IT and library facilities.

The University cannot offer a buy-out for teaching at the home institution. Candidates will usually be on a sabbatical or research leave, or indicate a time when they are free during the year.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is open to international students except those who are based in UK. 

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have completed a PhD degree or equivalent. Candidates must also be based outside the UK and be employed in a university, research institute or similar.
