Izmir University of Economics is offering graduate scholarships for international students. Scholarships will be awarded within the Graduate School of Social Sciences (GSSS) and Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences (GSNAS). Up to 42 scholarships (2 for each programme) are awarded. To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must be graduated from an undergraduate degree program (4-year) of a higher education institution recognized by the Higher Education Council (for graduate degree programs) and must get adequate score either from Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) scores or an equivalent score. Application should be submitted till August 15, 2014.

Application Requirements for Graduate School of Social Sciences (GSSS):
-Being graduated from an undergraduate degree program (4-year) of a higher education institution recognized by the Higher Education Council (for graduate degree programs)
-To get adequate score either from Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) scores or an equivalent score
-In order to be exempted from English Preparatory Programs, candidates are required to submit an internationally
valid exam score
Application Requirements for Graduate School Natural and Applied Sciences (GSNAS):
-For Computer Engineering Master Program: to have graduated from programs of Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, System Engineering, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mathematics, Physics, Logic and Conceptual Sciences and similar 4-year undergraduate programs of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK).
-For Electrical and Electronics Engineering Master Program: to have graduated from programs of Electrical and Electronics, Electric, Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications, Telecommunications, Control, Biomedical, Mechatronics, Computer, Software and other engineering programs, and “Physics” or similar 4-year undergraduate programs of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK).
-For Industrial Engineering Master Program: to have graduated from departments of Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, System Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Logic, Conceptual Sciences or similar 4-year undergraduate programs of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) .
-For Advanced Architectural Design Master Program without Thesis: to have graduated from departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture, City and Regional Planning of 4-year undergraduate programs of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education council of Turkey (YÖK)
-For Architecture Master Program with Thesis: to have graduated from departments of Architecture, Interior Architecture, City and Regional Planning and respective design fields of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK)
-For other master programs: To have graduated from 4-year undergraduate program of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK)
-For Ph.D. in Computer Engineering: 1) To have graduated from a 4-year undergraduate program or master program with thesis from the following faculties/programs of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) : a) Faculty of Engineering: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering; b) Faculty of Science: Mathematics-Computer Sciences; c)Faculty of Education: Computer and Teaching Technologies 2) to have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 or an equivalent score.
-For Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics: 1) To have graduated from a 4-year undergraduate program or master program with thesis from the following faculties/programs of a higher education institution recognized by Higher Education Council of Turkey (YÖK) : Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry, Biology or Physics, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering 2) to have a GPA of at least 3.00 out of 4.00 or an equivalent score.
