HECs Outstanding Research Awards, Pakistan, 2013

HEC has initiated the Outstanding Research Awards program to recognize and reward the achievement of Pakistani researchers/scholars for research innovation and publication in their respective fields of specialization.

Application Deadline: 09 Dec 2013

Objectives:

• To recognize and reward achievements in research, innovation and publication in all areas of knowledge.


• Establish a transparent, competitive and acceptable mechanism for selection.


• Accelerate research & development by motivating scholars.


• Diversify the fields of research & development by designing various rewarding categories.

The awards are given for the following disciplines;

• Engineering and Technology


• Basic and Applied Sciences


• Management Sciences


• Social Sciences


• Arts & Humanities

Eligibility:

Applicant must be resident citizen of Pakistan having at least two years of research experience as a researcher.

1. Submissions must be based on original work in applicant’s field of specialization.


2. Research work must have been initiated in Pakistan and at least 80% be done in Pakistan.


3. The material for "Best research paper award and best book publication award" must have been published in 2012.


4. For "Best young research scholar award" maximum age is below 40 years.
