Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Open to all applicants except those holding Chinese citizenship. Applicants must possess a valid passport.
• Health: Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.
• Compliance: All applicants must adhere to Chinese laws and regulations and respect Chinese traditions and customs. Chinese citizens who have obtained foreign nationalities should refer to the Ministry of Education of China's regulations for application.

Educational Background

• Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification. 
• Age limit: 35 years old or younger.

Application Procedure

Required Documents:

• Passport Scan: Valid after August 30, 2025.
• Academic Credentials:
• Scanned copies of all original diplomas and degrees (from undergraduate onwards) in Chinese or English.
• Proof of graduation expected before August 31, 2024 (if applicable).
• Scanned transcripts (from undergraduate onwards) in Chinese or English.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV): Detailing your educational background (since undergraduate), work experiences (if any), academic achievements, and future goals (minimum 1000 words).
• Visa and Residence Permit (if applicable): Scanned copies related to your previous studies in China. Otherwise, upload your passport scan.
• Personal Statement/Study Plan: This should cover your academic background, study and work experiences, achievements, and a detailed plan for your studies at Hohai University, including your development goals. Aim for at least 1000 words.
• English Proficiency Proof (if applicable): TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, or other recognized certificates (required for non-native English speakers).
• Recommendation Letters: Two letters from associate professors or above in a relevant field, written in Chinese or English, with signatures and contact information.
• Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Attachment 1): Complete the examination as per the provided list. Ensure the form includes your photo, examination date, doctor's signature, and hospital stamp. Results are valid for 6 months.
