ICGC Scholar Fellowships 2013, University of Minnesota, USA

ICGC seeks qualified candidates for ICGC Scholar Fellowships by means of departmental nomination.  Nominees should have backgrounds and interests which identify them as outstanding students who are clearly committed to the interdisciplinary study of the global south in the context of global change.  We encourage nomination of exceptionally capable students, especially but not only from the global south and U.S. communities of color.

To be considered for an ICGC Scholar Fellowship, applicants must:

(1) hold at least a Bachelor’s degree;
(2) have applied to a graduate degree at the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota as follows:  students entering doctoral programs in the Colleges of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences; Biological Sciences; Liberal Arts; Education and Human Development; and the School of Public Health; and students entering master’s programs in the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs and the School of Public Health;
(3) receive  a nomination for these fellowships by the department or college in which they will be enrolled; and
(4) gain admittance to a graduate degree program (as described above) by fall 2013.
