IN-EAST and the Käte Hamburger Kolleg / Centre for Global Cooperation Research (KHK/GCR21), jointly offer 6 months fellowship programme for 2016/2017 academic year. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this fellowship. Fellowship seeks to contribute towards a better understanding of the possibilities and limits of transboundary cooperation. Established in 1994, IN-EAST is Germany’s largest center of social science research on contemporary East Asia. IN-EAST runs Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral programs, each covering intensive training in one of the East Asian languages. The working language at both institutions is English.

Eligibility Criteria: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for this fellowship:
Both institutions are pleased to announce their Joint Call for Applications for fellowship in 2016 and 2017. The earliest start date possible is October 2016. Fellows, who are required to have a completed Ph.D., will join the Centre or the Institute for a period of six months.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.
English language Requirements: The working language at both institutions is English.
