Scholarship Description: The University of Aberdeen is offering Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) Scholarships for Home, EU and RUK applicants starting in September 2018. These scholarships provide tuition fee support for up to £6300 per students.

It is an ancient university founded in 1495 when William Elphinstone, Bishop of Aberdeen, petitioned Pope Alexander VI on behalf of James IV, King of Scots to establish King’s College, making it Scotland’s third-oldest university and the fifth-oldest in the English-speaking world.

If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

Degree Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing MSc programme.

Available Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study Molecular Medicine, Reproductive & Developmental Biology, Cardiovascular Science & Diabetes and Industrial Biotechnology.

Scholarship Benefits: IMS Scholarships provide tuition fee support for up to £6300 per student and are open to Home, EU and RUK applicants starting in September 2018.

Number of Scholarships: There are five scholarships available for selected on-campus IMS programmes.

Eligible Nationalities: Scholarships are open to Home, EU and RUK applicants.

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants with a fee classification of Home, EU or RUK who hold an offer of admission to one of the eligible campus-based programmes commencing in September 2018.

Application Procedure: No separate scholarship application is required. All applicants who hold an offer for admission for the eligible programmes by the close date of 15th June will be considered automatically.
