Aim of the ISPD Fellowship Program
The ISPD Scholarship 2025 supports healthcare professionals, especially from developing countries, in enhancing their knowledge and skills in peritoneal dialysis treatment, management, and research. By participating, fellows gain hands-on experience at an established PD training center for up to three months.
Degree Level
This fellowship is intended for healthcare professionals, physicians, nephrologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals rather than specific undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs. Applicants are typically MDs, PhDs, or healthcare specialists working in nephrology and dialysis.

Benefits
Fellowship Types and Funding
1. Individual Applications
Duration: Minimum 6 weeks, maximum 3 months.
Funding: Up to $5,000 USD.

2. Doctor-Nurse Team Applications (NEW)
Duration: 6 to 8 weeks.
Funding: Up to $9,000 USD per team.
Encourages collaboration between a doctor and a nurse from the same institution to strengthen PD programs at home centers.
