University of St Andrews is delighted to offer PhD scholarship in any subject. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship programme.

Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English proficiency. This can be either an IELTS score of 7.0, a TOEFL score of 100 iBT, or a Cambridge CPE at grade C.
Scholarship is available for pursuing PhD programme.
Scholarship is awarded to pursue any of the courses offered by the university.
One scholarship of £9,500 value will be paid towards tuition fees first. If the recipient’s tuition fees are less than the award value, the balance will be paid as maintenance.

-Scholarship is awarded for Year of entry.
-There is no restrictions on level of Subjects.
-There is no restrictions Schools.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: The degree of MD (Medicine) requires a medical qualification that is recognised by the UK General Medical Council.
English language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English proficiency. This can be either an IELTS score of 7.0, a TOEFL score of 100 iBT, or a Cambridge CPE at grade C.
All applications must include the following supplementary documentation before a decision can be made:
-CV/résumé. This should include your personal details with a history of your education and employment to date.
-A research proposal
-A sample of academic written work in English
-Two original signed academic references.
-Academic transcripts and degree certificates. Please only send certified copies with official English translations if applicable. Do not send original documents as they cannot be returned.
-English language requirements certificate.
-Applicants intending to read for a PhD, DLang, or MPhil award should include an outline in English of not more than 500 words, with the following exceptions:
-1,000 words for applications to International Relations
-1,000 words for applications to the School of Philosophy
-2,000 words for applications to the Department of Film Studies. Please also provide a brief statement of purpose or personal statement.
