Kawaguchi Shizu Memorial Scholarship University of Tokyo 2022 is open for International Students . The scholarship allows Masters level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at University of Tokyo . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 01 Feb 2022.

Degree Level:

Kawaguchi Shizu Memorial Scholarship University of Tokyo 2022 is available to undertake Masters level programs at University of Tokyo.

Scholarship Benefits:

Duration: April 2022 to March 2023
Amount : 60,000 JPY/month (Master’s student), 70,000JPY/month (Doctoral student)

Eligible Nationalities:

International Students

Eligibility Criteria:

(1)

Privately financed international students from Asian countries who are studying at, or allowed to be enrolled in a graduate school in Japan as a regular student with college visa status.

(2)

Those who are 34 years old or younger at the time of application.

(3)

Those who have good academic performance, and need a financial assistance.

(4)

Those who do not receive other scholarships.

(5)

Those who have Japanese language proficiency certificate TOPJ with advanced C level (JLPT not accepted).

Application Procedure:

Applicants must email the following documents in PDF to ILO, and submit the originals at the ILO office. Submission by postal mail is also accepted. 

(1)Application Form for Scholarship from private Foundations
(2)Transcript of graduate school and of undergraduate school
(3)Application Form (Foundation specified): single-sided printing
(4)Recommendation letter (paper size A4)
(5)Certificate of Enrollment, 1 original (or Certificate of Admission)
(6)Residence card (or Certificate of Residency)
(7)Research plan (Size of A4)
(8)Postcard issued by JP Post to notify the result, 1 sheet
(9)Certificate of Japanese Language Proficiency (only TOPJ)
