Scholarship Description:

Loyola University Paul D. Coverdell Fellowship, 2022-23 is open for International Students, Domestic Students . The scholarship allows Fellowship level program(s) in the field of Rule of Law for Development taught at Loyola University Chicago . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 01 Aug 2022.

Loyola University Chicago’s one-year Rule of Law for Development program will prepare you for jobs in the U.S. and abroad in the growing rule of law and development field, connecting you to an engaged network of rule of law practitioner faculty and graduates from 60+ countries. Our innovative online program offers master’s degrees for both attorneys and other professionals, with an optional immersion at Loyola’s campus in Rome, Italy. The scholarship will allow for a 50% tuition award, and the Fellows will undertake an internship at a Loyola partner organization at the end of the program. In order to be considered for the Coverdell Fellowship, applicants will need to submit their official Peace Corps Description of Service along with their application for admission. The Coverdell Fellows will be selected based on the relevance of their professional experience as Peace Corps Volunteers; their documented interest in pursuing a career in rule of law and development; and their academic records. Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants are returned Peace Corps Volunteers through the Paul D. Coverdell Fellows program.

In addition,

Rule of Law for Development LLM:
  1. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent as well as a primary law degree
  2. Applicants must demonstrate experience or an interest in rule of law and governance matters through past work or volunteer experience
  3. Applicants must have sufficient proficiency in English
Rule of Law for Development MJ:
  1. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an area of relevance
  2. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a professional connection to the subject area through: two years of professional experience; current employment in a closely related industry; or documented evidence of academic and professional preparation demonstrating an intention to pursue professional opportunities involving the rule of law.
  3. Applicants must have sufficient proficiency in English
