Scholarship Description:

LSE Master’s Awards at London School of Economics and Political Science is open for low and middle-income countries students preferably. The scholarship allows Masters level program(s) in the field of All Subjects taught at London School of Economics . The deadline of the scholarship is expired at 27 Apr 2020.

LSE Master’s Awards at London School of Economics and Political Science is available to undertake Masters level programs at London School of Economics.

LSE Master’s Awards are meant to help those students who have been offered a Masters degree place in LSE, but whose financial need is too great for funding under the LSEs Graduate Support Scheme – the primary scheme for taught Masters, which is designed to supplement other funding secured by a candidate (by way of savings, loans and external scholarships). Hence a fund is set aside every year to provide a small number of LSE Master’s Awards for those candidates who are not eligible for other available scholarships. LMAs are also sometimes used to supplement scholarships where the funds are not sufficient to meet the shortfall of the eligible candidate.

Scholarship Benefits:

The Awards can range in value from £5,000 to a full award.

Eligible Nationalities:

students from low and middle-income countries are preferred and awarded a high ratio of an award.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be holding an offer for a taught Masters program at LSE. Preference is given to those from low and middle-income countries, particularly if loans are not available or if those countries are under-represented in other award schemes administered by the School.

Please complete Section G: Personal Statement of the Graduate Financial Support Application Form in order to be considered for any other LSE Scholarships for which you meet the criteria. If you only wish to be considered for the Graduate Support Scheme, you do not need to complete the personal statement.

The outcome to your Graduate Support Scheme application will be displayed on the application tracker after you have received an offer. Successful applicants selected for other LSE Scholarships or awards will be notified by email throughout May, June and July 2020.
