Newcastle University is offering MastersCompare Postgraduate Scholarship for October 2017 start. The scholarship is open to UK, EU and international students.

Newcastle University is a public research university located in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North-East of England. The university can trace its origins to a School of Medicine and Surgery, established in 1834, and to the College of Physical Science, founded in 1871.

Applicants must hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0 if their first language is not English.

Degree Level: Scholarship is available to pursue postgraduate programme.

Available Subject: Scholarship is awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university.

Scholarship Benefits: Scholarship of £5,000 value will be awarded.

Number of Scholarships: One scholarship will be awarded.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship.

To be eligible for consideration of the MastersCompare Postgraduate Scholarship, you must have submitted your course application and received an unconditional offer of a place on a part-time or full-time postgraduate Master’s course no later than 1 September 2017.

The scholarship is open to UK, EU and international students.

The funding can be used alongside the new Postgraduate Loan scheme (UK/EU students).

Nationality: The scholarship is open to UK, EU and international students.

Entrance Requirement: A 2:1 honours degree, or international equivalent.

English Language Requirement: Applicants must hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0 if their first language is not English.
