Scholarship Description:

Kent Business School is excited to announce the availability of two 'Leaders in Sustainability Scholarships' for students who are applying for the MBA program. The scholarships are valued at 25% of the MBA tuition fee.

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must have extensive and diverse work experience and demonstrate academic excellence in advancing sustainable and socially responsible business practices. They should have the ability to inspire colleagues and peers to become future leaders in sustainable business.

As a recipient of this prestigious scholarship, awardees are expected to continue advocating for sustainability by undertaking the following during their MBA program:

1. Collaborate with the MBA Team to organize an event or project that promotes sustainability.

2. Act as a student ambassador to support recruitment activities and initiatives for the MBA program.

Upon graduation, scholarship recipients will join the network of alumni ambassadors in their home country to support key alumni events and recruitment activities.

Eligible Nationalities:

This scholarship is open to international students.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open to all applicants who are in receipt of a formal offer to study onto the MBA for September 2023 Entry.

To be eligible candidates must: 

• Hold a UK First Class degree (or international equivalent) and/or hold substantial managerial work experience 
• Be self-funded 
• Submit a minimum 500 word statement of motivation, detailing why they should be considered for this scholarship award which demonstrates their commitment to sustainable business practice, aspirational business leadership and how this aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. 

Awards will be considered by the Scholarship Awarding Panel. Successful candidates will be notified within one week of the panel meeting.

Application Procedure:

This scholarship can only be considered after you have submitted a formal application to study onto the MBA at Kent Business School and have received a formal offer for September 2023 entry.
