Full-time MBA


25 International Awards (2014)



  • The Americas: Five scholarships valued at £2,000 each

  • India: Five scholarships valued at £2,000 each

  • Pakistan: Five scholarships valued at £2,000 each

  • Africa: Five scholarships valued at £2,000 each

  • Middle East/Far East: Five scholarships valued at £2,000 each


Scholarships will be awarded on merit. The general eligibility requirements are:

  • Academic requirements – applicants should have a first or upper second class UK honours degree, or equivalent.

  • Allowed study options – applicants should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme.

  • Personal criteria – applicants must have the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary to make an excellent contribution to the programme.


Closing Date: 30 May 2014. All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.

Those students who are considered to be the five most outstanding as decided by a committee consisting of the Postgraduate Admissions Director, one of the School’s Admissions Tutors, and the MBA programme director will be awarded the scholarship.

The students to whom a scholarship will be awarded will receive notification before 31 July 2014. The scholarship will only be valid when the student has met all entry requirements for the MBA programme. The scholarship will be void when the student fails to register for the 2014 intake on the MBA programme.

Please note that in addition to dedicated scholarships awarded by the Management School, a scholarship of £2000 is available for all Indian Masters students starting a programme at the University of Sheffield Management School in September 2013.

University of Sheffield Alumni Scholarship


Alumni of a University of Sheffield undergraduate degree are entitled to a scholarship of £1,000 (reduction in fee charged) if they choose to remain at the university to study for their MBA.

UK - Fully Funded Awards (2014)


Two fully funded scholarships valued at the cost of the full programme fee, awarded to applicants from the United Kingdom. Scholarships will be awarded on merit. The general eligibility requirements are:

  • Academic requirements – applicants should have a first or upper second class UK honours degree.

  • Allowed study options – applicants should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme.

  • Personal criteria – applicants must have the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary to make an excellent contribution to the programme.

  • Residency restrictions – applicants must originate from the United Kingdom.


Closing Date: 30 May 2014. All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered.

The student who is considered to be the most outstanding as decided by a committee consisting of the Postgraduate Admissions Director, one of the School’s Admissions Tutors (preferably the one with special responsibility for the United Kingdom), and the MBA programme director will be awarded the scholarship.

The students to whom a scholarship will be awarded will receive notification before 23 August 2014. The scholarship will only be valid when the student has met all entry requirements for the MBA programme. The scholarship will be void when the student fails to register for the 2014 intake on the MBA programme.




How to apply


All applicants who have been made a conditional or unconditional offer will be sent an email inviting them to apply for the relevant scholarship. The email will outline all scholarships that the applicant is eligible to apply for.
