In this Specialization, you’ll build a practical foundation for using AI in executive decision-making without getting lost in technical jargon. You’ll begin by learning how AI technologies—including machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI—work and how organizations apply them to improve business operations and decision-making. The program then introduces responsible AI practices, helping learners identify bias, improve transparency and explainability, and evaluate AI initiatives using governance and risk frameworks such as the NIST AI RMF. Building on this foundation, learners will apply AI to leadership decisions through forecasting, strategic planning, risk assessment, and business case analysis while learning to communicate AI-driven insights effectively. Finally, the Specialization explores how leaders can build AI-ready organizations by aligning people, processes, and technology, developing high-value AI use cases, leading AI-augmented teams, and establishing governance approaches that support ethical, compliant, and effective AI adoption.
