Empathic AI Communication, Trust & Ethical Use

About this course

This program prepares you to use AI responsibly while developing empathic communication skills. Across seven courses you’ll act as an ethical mediator between chatbots and users: you’ll use prompt templates and a tone‑accuracy‑risk checklist to vet responses and know when to elevate issues. You’ll explore why people adopt or abandon AI wellness tools by analyzing psychological factors such as trust, privacy, empathy, effort expectancy and social influence, and mapping the five‑stage consumer decision journey. You’ll practice ethical AI habits by applying the guiding principles of privacy, transparency, fairness and accountability, mastering consent protocols to understand how data is used, and using a red‑flag checklist to catch biased or harmful outputs. You’ll combine empathy frameworks like LAER (Listen, Acknowledge, Explore, Respond) and AARVR with AI tools like ChatGPT to practice responding to frustrated customers, analyze conversation sentiment and decide when to trust AI suggestions. You’ll learn the Pros‑Cons‑Mitigations decision framework to generate options with AI and align choices with personal values. Finally, you’ll measure human‑AI connection using anthropomorphism concepts and a warmth‑and‑competence survey. Through role plays and coach dialogues you’ll finish ready to evaluate, communicate and decide with AI in ways that build trust and protect wellbeing.
