English for Nature and Sustainability

About this course

Talk about the planet with clearer, more purposeful English. This course begins with nature, where you will build vocabulary for the natural world, climate change, and environmental issues while practicing forms for future plans and predictions. You will read and discuss how human actions affect the environment, then move into sustainability and learn language for pollution, resource management, and practical sustainable practices. As you work with texts, videos, comprehension checks, discussions, and travelpost activities, you will strengthen your ability to organize ideas with linking words and quantifiers and explain solutions in a more connected way. By the end of the course, you will be able to discuss environmental change and sustainability, describe examples from businesses and communities, and present your views more clearly in speech and writing.
