The Financial Soundness Indicators (FSIs) were developed by the IMF, together with the international community, with the aim of supporting analysis and assessing strengths and vulnerabilities of financial systems and their corporate and household counterparts. FSIs are widely used by researchers, analysts, and policymakers around the world to monitor the soundness of the financial system as a whole from a macroprudential perspective.
