Learn iPhone development from a published developer

About this course

There's no course that can take you from beginner to expert coder. There's too much to learn, and the course would be hundreds of hours long. So rather than promising something ridiculous, this course will take you from complete beginner with no coding experience through to a 'kinda good' coder.I'll teach you to make apps that can be published on the app store, but you'll have to practice and write a load more code before you'll be a great developer. The lectures will be delivered almost entirely as screencasts so you'll be able to follow along with the code as I go. I've also included the source files from each lecture in the resources so if you get stuck you can download them and check your code. Throughout the course we'll work through various modules that will teach you to:Install XcodeLearn the basics of Objective-CWork with interface elements and stock UIAdd images and video to your appsLocate the user and work with maps and location dataAnimate your apps to make users smileStore data to the device and retrieve it againSkin your app ready for the app storeThere's over four hours of video lessons to work through and more get added every week. These videos will be updated to stay current every time Apple change something, so you'll never need to worry about out-of-date material. I support the forums personally too so if you get stuck I'll be there to help you. If you're wondering why you should learn to code in Objective-C, or want to know anything else about the course, watch the Introduction video at the start of the course.
