This course is a professionally tailored course offered for students who are interested in studying health, fitness or medicine. This course encourages students to pursue a career as a medical scribe with any scribe company online or in person. I want to encourage students to think about what they want to do in the future and how being a medical scribe can help them reach their personal goals in medicine. I have been a medical scribe for the past 2 years and am planning on becoming a dentist and attending dental school. Medical scribing prepared me completely in this field to understand charting and how the work flow of clinics in DC. I have been a medical scribe for the past 4 years and received extensive training from various companies. This powerpoint video outlines what students need to do to become medical scribes and I have provided my email to be a reference to students. I want to promote as many students as possible and help them start their journey as a medical scribe with the medical scribe company of their choosing. I greatly enjoyed working with medical scribe and I have helped over 8 physicians. Some of the physicians were MDs, some where PAs, and some were DNPs. By following the course videos I create for medical scribing students can be prepared to be trained as medical scribes and know the field of medical scribing in depth whether online or in person. I make minimum wage as a medical scribe but in the past have received bonuses of $17. This course includes help with typing speed, an introduction to anatomy and physiology, 11 lecture videos on topics in anatomy and physiology, a list of common pharmaceuticals scribes will see on the field, a description of spekenotes, and branches of practice.
