In this course, students will ultimately learn to implement, manage, as well as monitor security and compliance solutions for Microsoft 365 and hybrid environments. Specifically, time from this course will be spent managing Microsoft identity and access, password and identity protection, identity synchronization, access management, Microsoft 365 security, threat intelligence, mobile device management, information protection, encryption, data loss prevention, cloud application security, archiving and retention, and data governance. This course will prepare students for the MS-500 exam. Students passing the exam will earn the Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate certification. This course aligns with the CAP Body of Knowledge and should be approved for 7.5 recertification points under the Technology and Information Distribution content area.
