About this course
This Specialization, based on Nonprofit Management 101, guides learners through nonprofit leadership, operations, fundraising, marketing, and governance. Gain essential skills in strategy, law, advocacy, diversity, and executive leadership to support mission-driven organizations. The second course focuses on the operational systems that sustain nonprofit organizations. Learners examine financial management, technology planning, web design, evaluation and learning plans, and constituent relationship management. The course also develops fundraising knowledge through donor strategies, grants, online fundraising, peer-to-peer campaigns, cause marketing, and social enterprise approaches. These strengthen understanding of nonprofit sustainability & effectiveness. The final course centers on marketing, engagement, and governance practices that help nonprofits strengthen visibility and stakeholder relationships. Learners study branding, digital storytelling, newsletters, event planning, public relations, volunteer recruitment and management, board governance, and board fundraising engagement. Across all three courses, learners develop an integrated understanding of how nonprofit organizations lead, operate, communicate, and grow in support of their missions.
