In this course we will dive deep on what spectrally makes up each of the main drum sounds that are heard across a wide variety of music genres.This course is divided up into a number of sections focussing on each main drum sound: Hihat, Kick, Snare, Shaker and Clap sounds.Each section begins by discussing what each sound is in terms of frequency content, temporal elements as well as tonal character. We will then look at initial synthesis and how to synthesis the base sound. We will then proceed by exploring a number of intermediate and advanced techniques to pour life, organics, realism and performability into each one of your drum preset instrument patches. We will firstly look at processing inside the synth its-self then some more advanced and technical approaches on how to use native plugins in your DAW to further embellish and add ultra realistic detail/microphone emulations.After completing this course you will have the tools, skills and knowledge to create highly performable and realistic drum patches that you can continually use in your future productions. This course also provides you with 30 extremely varied pre-made presets that you can easily morph and edit to create a plethora of grooves, tones and beats to be used in your music royalty free!
