Scholarship Description:

The Quantum Biology and Computational Physics Group and the Department of Physics, Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense invite applications for a Ph.D. position. Danish and international applicants are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

The successful candidate is required to have a bachelor degree in Physics or a similar program and be familiar with the concepts of scientific computing.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing Ph.D. program.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in Computational Physics.

Scholarship Award: The appointment will be for a term of three (5+3 programme for applicants with a Master’s degree) or four (4+4 programme for students who have not yet finished their Master studies) years at very competitive salary and it is expected to start as soon as possible and no later than September 2016.

Scholarship can be taken in Denmark

Eligibility: The successful candidate is required to have a bachelor degree in physics or a similar program, and be familiar with the concepts of scientific computing. Prior experience with computational quantum chemistry, classical molecular dynamics or parallel computing is considered as a requirement. The candidate should be able to work in a collaborative environment and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this scholarship program.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: The successful candidate is required to have a bachelor degree in physics or a similar program, and be familiar with the concepts of scientific computing.

English language Requirements: The candidate should be able to work in a collaborative environment and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
