Postdoctoral Fellowships for International Students in France 2014 Sponsored by Cournot Foundation

The Cournot Foundation awards every year a maximum of five Robert Solow Postdoctoral Fellowships of 24,000 € each to researchers of all nationalities. The Cournot Centre’s Scientific Team chooses the postdoctoral fellows based on their applications. Recipients may undertake postdoctoral research at the host institution of their choice. The Cournot Foundation and Cournot Centre do not act as hosting institutions for postdoctoral researchers, only as funding institutions. Candidates must have been awarded their Ph.D. between 1 October 2012 and 1 October 2014. The fellowship is for 12 months and is not intended to supplement other research grants or a full-time salary.

Eligibility: -Researchers of all nationalities are eligible. -Candidates must have been awarded their PhD between 1 October 2012 and 1 October 2014. The fellowship is for 12 months and is not intended to supplement other research grants or a full-time salary.

• Researchers of all nationalities can apply for these postdoctoral fellowships.


• Fellowships are awarded for research at host institutions.


• Fellowships are available for postdoctoral research programme.


• Five Robert Solow postdoctoral fellowships will be offered.


• These postdoctoral fellowships will be offered for 12 months.


• Fellowships worth 24,000 € each will be awarded.


• The Cournot Centre’s Scientific Team chooses the postdoctoral fellows based on their applications.


• The successful applicants for the 2014–15 academic year will be notified by 15 April 2014.


• Applicants should apply by post. Applications must not be more than six (6) pages recto in length, including the cover page and may be typed in a font size no smaller than 12 or handwritten in black ink. Additional sheets should not be added.


• The application deadline is February 5, 2014.
