Tokyu Foundation Scholarship , for Foreign Students, Japan

Tokyu Foundation scholarship program is accepting applications from foreign students for Tokyu Foundation Scholarship Program in Japan. Students belonging to Asia Pacific region are eligible for this scholarship program who are studying and conducting research in Japan. Each student will receive 180,000 yen monthly for the duration of two years. The application deadline is October 30th, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Must be a regular student already enrolled in Japan.


2. Must be a candidate from Asia pacific Countries.i.e Republic of Korea, the People’s Republic of China, Mongolia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, the Philippines, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Myanmar, Bhutan, Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan, Afghanistan, the Russian Federation, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Pacific Ocean on the Islands, countries (Fiji, Tonga, etc.)


3. Age limit. MSc (Master’s Program): Born after April 1, 1986, PhD (doctoral): birth after April 1, 1981


4. A person who can explain the research plans in Japanese. (All interview will be conducted in Japanese.)

• Up 15 scholarships are available. Scholarships are awarded for the duration of two years.


• An interview last review by the selection committee is done in March 2016 early (planned).

Scholarship Benefits: The value of scholarship is 180,000 yen monthly (there is no repayment obligation). travel expenses, etc.
